Samsung Electronics has announced that its Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam, a new vacuum and mop robot cleaner series, has received the “Diamond” level verification under UL Solutions’ Marketing Claim Verification IoT Security Rating Program. This marks the third time in 2025 that Samsung has achieved this rating for its home appliances, following similar recognition for the Bespoke AI Refrigerator and Bespoke AI Laundry lineup.
“As the smart home environment expands and concerns around data privacy grow, consumers are looking for more secure products they can trust,” said Jeong Seung Moon, EVP and Head of the R&D Team for Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “Samsung remains committed to providing the best possible experience for users by building a powerful security foundation that protects their data across our AI-powered appliances.”
The Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, the premium model in the series, uses a camera during cleaning and offers features such as home monitoring through SmartThings connectivity. According to Samsung, strong security is especially important for these devices due to their monitoring capabilities and storage of user information.
Samsung has incorporated its Knox multi-layered security system into these appliances. Knox provides encrypted communication and protection against external threats. The company is also applying new technologies such as Knox Matrix Trust Chain—which uses blockchain technology to monitor connected appliances’ security status in real time—and Knox Vault, which stores sensitive user information like passwords on a separate hardware chip.
Knox Vault is being used in home appliances for the first time in 2025. These measures are intended to deliver a more secure connected home experience and expand security certifications across Samsung’s product portfolio.
The Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra also includes steam sanitization technology for mops and uses AI Object Recognition to enhance cleaning experiences tailored to individual homes. The device will be showcased at IFA 2025.
UL Solutions evaluates marketing claims about smart device security through its IoT Security Rating Program, which ranks products on five levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. The Diamond rating requires products to detect and block malicious software, prevent unauthorized access, anonymize user data, detect unknown threats, and run real-time vulnerability management systems.
The Bespoke AI Refrigerator and Laundry lineup were introduced earlier this year at Samsung’s global launch event. These products feature screens called AI Home or AI Family Hub that allow users to control devices easily and view product-related information.
Samsung continues rolling out these certified products in select markets worldwide.
