Allianz Group has announced the winners of its ‘Unity Awards’, an initiative aimed at highlighting the role of unity in sports. The company, which operates in nearly 70 countries, serves both private and corporate customers with a wide range of insurance products including property, life, health, assistance services, credit insurance, and global business insurance.
Allianz manages approximately 749 billion euros on behalf of its insurance clients. In addition to this, asset managers PIMCO and Allianz Global Investors oversee about 1.8 trillion euros in third-party assets. The company reports that it systematically integrates ecological and social factors into its business processes and investment decisions, contributing to its leadership position in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
In 2024, Allianz employed more than 156,000 people worldwide. That year, the group recorded a total business volume of 179.8 billion euros and an operating profit of 16.0 billion euros.
