A demonstration is planned for August 9, 2025, in the area near the National Mosque, Central Market, and Merdeka Square in Kuala Lumpur. According to information from the U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, groups are expected to gather at Masjid India, the Masjid Jamek LRT area, the National Mosque, and Central Market starting at 4:00 p.m., before marching toward Merdeka Square around 5:00 p.m.
