The U.S. Embassy will hold an online auction of used government property from August 11 to August 15, 2025. The auction, managed by GSO through the Embassy Online Auction Platform, will begin at 09:00 on August 11 and close at 17:00 on August 15.

Available items include IT equipment, shipping containers, and vehicles. These items are open for bidding to all interested participants.

To take part in the auction, individuals should use any internet browser to search for "Embassy Online Auction" or visit https://online-auction.state.gov. Users can select their preferred display language from the list provided. Registration is required before placing bids. After creating an account, bidders must log in and click on “Astana, KZ” to view available lots and submit bids.

Participants must be at least 18 years old to place a bid. All items are sold "As Is," with no warranties or refunds available. The embassy advises bidders to read the “How It Works” section for each lot carefully before making a bid.

The U.S. Embassy reserves the right to refuse any bid or cancel the auction without conditions. Employees interested in participating should review the guidelines outlined in 14 FAM 417.2-3 Exchange/Sale of Property.
