Arch Insurance International has appointed James Byford as Senior Contingency Underwriter, effective immediately. Byford will work from London and report to Chris Rackliffe, Head of Contingency and Accident & Health.
In his new position, Byford is tasked with supporting the growth of Arch’s Contingency portfolio. This portfolio offers primary and excess coverage in areas such as event cancellation, event liability, non-appearance, and cyber risks.
Byford joins Arch after more than 14 years in underwriting. He previously served as Lead Contingency Underwriter at Worldwide Special Risks.

His experience will be instrumental in supporting the continued growth and diversification of our Contingency portfolio.”
