The U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur has announced that its American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit will be offering passport, Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA), and notarial services to U.S. citizens in Terengganu on the afternoon of August 18, 2025. The exact time and location for these appointments are yet to be determined.
According to the embassy, all fees for passport and CRBA services must be paid online through the official U.S. government payment portal, while notarial service fees require payment by banker’s cheque. Further information about payment procedures will be provided in appointment confirmation emails.
U.S. citizens or parents of U.S. citizen minors interested in these services are encouraged to register their interest no later than Wednesday, August 13. Registration is necessary to receive details about the venue and to secure an appointment slot.
