Sinopec has announced two developments at the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC). The company’s “AI-Assisted Development of Polyimide Gas Separation Materials” was recognized as one of the “Outstanding Achievements in Strategic and High-Value AI Application Scenarios.” In addition, Sinopec introduced its intelligent research and development platform for Molecular Sieve materials during the China AI Innovation Achievements Exhibition.
Polyimide is an important component used in membrane materials to extract high-purity helium. Molecular sieves are porous substances that have found broad application in petrochemical processes and environmental protection. Both projects have used intelligent platforms to improve research and development efficiency.
