The U.S. Mission in Kampala has announced an invitation for vendors specializing in the supply and installation of curtains and blinds to express their interest in providing these services. Interested businesses are required to submit their company profile, documentation of experience, financial capacity, and references.

According to the announcement, submissions must include the vendor's name, physical address, contact information (telephone, email, and point of contact), certificate of incorporation, evidence of at least two years of past work experience, and a trading license. Only vendors based in Kampala who directly provide these services—not third-party vendors—are eligible to apply.

"Only vendors that specialize in Supply and Installation of Curtains and Blinds services within Kampala, Uganda and not third-party vendors should submit this information."

Submissions should be sent by email to KampalaBid@state.gov with the subject line "Expression of Interest for Supply and Installation of Curtains and Blinds." The deadline for submitting expressions of interest is Tuesday, August 11, 2025 at 10:00am local time.

The notice also states that only those vendors who respond will be contacted to provide physical samples.

"This solicitation may require registration with System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to FAR 4.1102 and other applicable regulations and guidelines. Information can be found at www.sam.gov Registration must be “ACTIVE” at the time of award."
