The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has added Bangladesh to the Global Dengue Travelers’ Health Notice. The notice is currently at a Level 1, advising travelers to practice usual precautions. Dengue, a disease caused by a virus spread through mosquito bites, can take up to two weeks to develop, with illness generally lasting less than a week.

It is recommended to seek medical treatment if experiencing any warning signs or symptoms that cause concern.
