General Ronald P. Clark, Commanding General of United States Army Pacific, concluded a visit to New Zealand, where he met with Chief of Army Major General Rose King and leaders of the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) in Wellington and Waiouru.

The meetings reinforced the longstanding U.S.–New Zealand Army partnership. This collaboration has been established over more than a century through shared sacrifices, operational trust, and a mutual commitment to maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific region.

U.S. and New Zealand soldiers have participated together in various activities, including Talisman Sabre exercises and regional peacekeeping missions. These joint efforts demonstrate the continued training, deployment, and leadership collaboration between the two nations' forces.

General Clark remarked: “New Zealand is a stalwart partner in the Pacific….our soldiers share trust built on action, not just words.”
