Four projects in Nigeria, undertaken by CGCOC Group, a joint venture of Sinopec Star company, have recently been completed. During the completion ceremony held in Abuja, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu expressed gratitude to Chinese enterprises and friends for assisting more Nigerian families in accessing clean and sufficient water supply.
The Greater Abuja Water Supply Project, described as the "main artery" of the capital's water supply network, includes newly built pipelines stretching 422 km. It can supply up to 480,000 cubic meters of water per day, meeting the needs of around 3 million people.
Additionally, the arterial road N16 in Abuja, along with road N11 and OSEX II Project undertaken by CGCOC Group, has significantly improved the transportation network of the capital city and surrounding areas. These projects have also contributed to training a large number of local technical professionals.
