Societe Generale has announced that Cécile Bartenieff will take on the role of Head of Mobility and International Retail Banking & Financial Services starting September 1, 2025. Bartenieff, who has been with the company for over 25 years, is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale Asia-Pacific.
Bartenieff will succeed Delphine Garcin-Meunier, who is leaving the organization to pursue new projects. In her new position, Bartenieff will report to Pierre Palmieri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and join the Group's Executive Committee. Her responsibilities will include overseeing mobility and leasing activities (Ayvens), retail banking in several countries including the Czech Republic and Romania, as well as specialized financing services.

Bartenieff began her professional journey at Accenture before moving into banking at BRED Banque Populaire. She joined Societe Generale's Corporate and Investment Banking division in 2000 where she held various managerial roles before becoming Head of Operations in 2014. She later served as Chief Operating Officer of Global Banking and Investor Solutions in 2017.
