Sun Life U.S., along with DentaQuest, has announced a donation of $50,000 to aid relief efforts in Texas following recent flash floods. The contribution will be split between two organizations: $25,000 for the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country's Kerr County Flood Relief Fund and another $25,000 for TEXSAR (Texas Search and Rescue). Additionally, Sun Life U.S. donates $20,000 annually to the American Red Cross for emergency preparedness.
Dan Fishbein, M.D., president of Sun Life U.S., expressed condolences to those affected by the disaster. "Our thoughts are with everyone in and beyond Kerr County affected by this devastating flood," he stated. He emphasized support for families and first responders in recovery efforts.
