Kolonia, July 10, 2025—The Department of the Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs (OIA) has announced the opening of FY 2025 funding applications. The initiative aims to support projects in U.S. territories and freely associated states.
Funding is accessible through various programs, including technical and maintenance assistance, coral reef and natural resources, brown tree snake control, and energizing insular communities. Applicants are encouraged to review program guidelines and submit their proposals by August 15, 2025. OIA is responsible for overseeing U.S. territories such as American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
