Toyota has been recognized as one of the top ten most respected companies in Canada, according to Leger's annual Reputation Study. The study also named Toyota as the leading automotive brand in Canada for the eighth year in a row and placed it fourth overall on Leger’s “Employer Score” ranking. This reflects Canadian preferences for companies they would most like to work for.

Leger's Reputation Study, now in its 28th year, serves as a benchmark for assessing corporate reputation in Canada and observing changes over time. This year, more than 38,000 Canadians participated in the survey, evaluating 326 companies across 30 sectors.

“Toyota’s consistent performance in our Reputation Study highlights how much Canadians value core pillars of reputation — including honesty and transparency, quality, and social responsibility,” stated Lisa Covens, Senior Vice President at Leger. She noted that Toyota's leadership in the automotive sector for eight consecutive years demonstrates its ability to connect with Canadians meaningfully and meet their evolving expectations.

Cyril Dimitris, President and CEO at Toyota Canada, expressed pride in being ranked by Canadian consumers among the country's top ten most reputable companies. He remarked, “Being ranked at the top of the automotive industry for eight straight years is something we don’t take for granted, and we plan to continue earning the trust of Canadians by staying focused on our customer experience, delivering high value, quality products, and being a socially responsible corporate citizen.”
