The U.S. Consulate has announced a visit to Tahiti, French Polynesia, from August 11 to 13, 2025. The visit will take place at Marina Taina on the northwest side of the Marina Yacht Pier in Punaauia.
During this period, American citizens in need of passport renewal or registration for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad for their child can avail themselves of services provided by the consulate. Additionally, notary services for documents intended for use in the United States will be available.
Appointments are required and must be scheduled via email at TahitiACS@state.gov before the close of business on Friday, August 1, 2025. Walk-in applications will not be accepted due to limited slots.
The estimated processing times for various services have been outlined as follows: Emergency Limited Passports are expected to take between two to three weeks; Regular Passports may require four to six weeks; and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad are anticipated to take five to seven weeks.
