The U.S. Embassy in La Paz, Bolivia, in collaboration with the Observatorio San Calixto, will host a webinar on earthquake preparedness. This event is scheduled for Thursday, July 17, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Bolivia time and will be conducted in English.
Bolivia experiences occasional seismic activity, making preparedness crucial for safety. The embassy encourages participation to enhance awareness and readiness among U.S. citizens residing in or visiting Bolivia.
To attend the webinar, interested individuals must register by sending their email address and full name to ConsularLaPazACS@state.gov. Upon registration, participants will receive a link to join the virtual session.

- Visit the United States Geological Survey website for information on earthquake preparedness.
- Enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive security updates.
- Ensure that passports and other important documents are current and valid.
