Acting Chargé d’Affaires Anna Radivilova has taken on her role at Embassy Stockholm, where she joined as Counselor for Political-Economic Affairs in August 2024. Prior to this position, Radivilova was the political-economic chief at the U.S. Embassy in Riga.

Her career includes various roles in Washington, such as NATO desk officer, UK Senior Desk officer, and Director for Western Europe at the National Security Council. Her international assignments have taken her to Stuttgart at U.S. European Command from 2014 to 2016, Bosnia-Herzegovina from 2011 to 2014, Kazakhstan from 2008 to 2010, and Bulgaria from 2007 to 2009. Radivilova began her service with the Foreign Service in 2004.

Born in what is now St. Petersburg during the Soviet Union era, Radivilova's family moved to the United States in 1990. She was raised in San Francisco and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University.
