DBS/POSB has announced the return of its popular weekly SGD 3 cashback offer at hawker stalls, wet markets, and heartland shops. This initiative is part of a series of benefits to enhance customer savings in celebration of Singapore's 60th birthday. Over the next three months, approximately two million cashback rewards will be available for redemption through DBS PayLah!. Additionally, POSB debit and credit cardmembers can access meal deals priced at SGD 0.60 and SGD 6 at select food outlets.

The bank will also provide complimentary sailboat rides in Marina Bay every Friday evening as part of its SG60 offerings. These benefits were first introduced in March and include grocery deals priced at 60 cents, mortgage payment reductions, waivers, cashback for merchants, and support programs for seniors through the DBS Foundation.

DBS has previously subsidized over SGD 14 million worth of purchases and meals in the heartlands. Currently, more than 70% of PayLah! transactions are for food and groceries from these areas. Among those redeeming cashback rewards, a significant portion includes senior citizens or individuals earning less than SGD 2,500 monthly.

Lim Him Chuan, DBS Singapore Country Head, expressed satisfaction with the initiative's reception: “The positive reception to our PayLah! weekly cashback initiative has been encouraging. We are grateful for our customers’ steadfast support over the years and believe that bringing back this initiative for SG60 further reaffirms our commitment to standing by them and driving inclusive growth of our heartlands.”

From July to September this year, various promotions will be available including special deals at local favorites such as Old Chang Kee and BreadTalk via POSB cards. Furthermore, starting August 1st until September's end, DBS/POSB cardmembers can redeem eVouchers on PayLah! with additional cashback offers.

In addition to these consumer benefits, DBS continues its community engagement efforts through digital literacy initiatives aimed at revitalizing local neighborhoods.

DBS is a prominent financial services group based in Asia with operations across multiple markets. It holds high credit ratings globally and has received numerous accolades for its banking services.
