Barclays has announced the appointment of Dale Walsh as the Global Head of Credit Distribution and Product for its Private Bank and Wealth Management division. Based in the UK, Walsh will be responsible for overseeing credit distribution and product on a global scale within PBWM. He will report directly to Jane Sedgwick, Barclays' Global Head of PBWM Credit.
Walsh brings with him extensive experience in originating and structuring lending solutions, having spent 20 years in wealth and corporate banking across various business and risk sectors. Prior to joining Barclays, he served as Managing Director at Citi Private Bank, where he was responsible for lending advisory across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
In his new role at Barclays, Walsh will focus on expanding the bank's lending business while enhancing its securities-backed lending capabilities.
