DBS Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2025 Grant Award. The grant program offers funding of up to ₹1.6 crore (SGD 250,000) to social enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises across Asia. The initiative supports businesses that focus on providing essential needs and fostering inclusion within vulnerable communities. Applications are open until June 30, 2025.

Claire Wong, Lead (Business for Impact) at DBS Foundation, stated, “Across Asia – and especially in India – we continue to witness a new wave of impact-driven businesses reimagining solutions to complex social and environmental challenges." She added that the foundation aims "to accelerate the growth of these innovative changemakers who are committed to creating lasting impact."

Since the program began, it has provided over ₹143 crore (SGD 21.5 million) in funding to more than 160 enterprises. This includes support for market expansion, product innovation, research and development, and infrastructure enhancement.

In India specifically, previous recipients such as Phool, Haqdarshak, and S4S Technologies have been able to scale their operations due to the grant. In 2024 alone, four Indian companies were among those awarded: Hasiru Dala Innovations, Atypical Advantage, Neurosynaptic Communications, and Last Mile Care.

Eligible applicants must be registered in one of DBS' six core markets: Singapore, India, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan or Indonesia. They need at least two years of proven impact and a plan for scaling their business sustainably over the next two years.
