This announcement comes as part of Everest's ongoing expansion of its board following the recent appointments of Darryl Page and John Howard.
Allan Levine brings a wealth of experience to Everest with a career spanning over three decades in insurance and financial markets. He is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Global Atlantic, an insurance company that is a wholly owned subsidiary of KKR & Co. Inc., where he also serves as a Partner. Previously, Levine was Chairman and CEO at Global Atlantic for 12 years, overseeing the company's growth strategy and managing $190 billion in assets globally. His career also includes significant roles at Goldman Sachs Reinsurance Group.
In addition to his new role at Everest, Levine holds positions on several boards including the American Council of Life Insurers, the Advisory Board for the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School, and the Board of the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club. He holds degrees from Miami University (Ohio) and Columbia Business School.
