Applications are now open for the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program for the academic year 2026-2027. This program provides grants to Lithuanian scientists, research scholars, and university lecturers who wish to conduct research or lecture at U.S. universities. The duration of the grants ranges from three to nine months.

To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of Lithuania and must reside and work in Lithuania during both the application process and their affiliation period in the United States. Applicants are required to hold a doctoral degree or have equivalent professional experience. Additionally, they need to submit a clearly defined statement outlining their proposed activities for research or lectures. Proficiency in English is necessary for all candidates based on their intended projects.
