Global Entry, a program by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), offers expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. Interested individuals can apply for membership on the CBP Trusted Traveler Program website. The application fee is $120, and membership is valid for five years. Applicants under 18 must submit individual applications but may have their fees waived if a parent or legal guardian is already a member. All applicants are subject to a background check.

The U.S. Embassy in Singapore conducts limited interviews for eligible members to complete their Global Entry and/or U.S. APEC Business Travel Card enrollments. Appointments must be scheduled online via the TTP account at https://ttp.dhs.gov/. Walk-ins without appointments are not accepted at the embassy.

Applicants residing outside Singapore can also schedule interviews online but should note that appointments are made at their own risk, as system issues may require rescheduling by CBP officers in Singapore.

For inquiries, emails can be sent to SingaporeCBPInquiry@state.gov with responses typically provided within 72 hours.

Interview attendees must bring a passport and a second form of picture ID and arrive 15 minutes before their appointment time. Each person requires an individual appointment; no enrollments will occur without one at the embassy. Electronic devices are not allowed inside but can be checked at the main visitor checkpoint or stored in rentable lockers for larger items like iPads and laptops.

Minors under 18 need to be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian, whose name should be provided in advance for security clearance. If unable to attend, appointments can be rescheduled through the TTP account online.

The Enrollment on Arrival (EoA) and Enrollment on Departure (EoD) programs allow conditionally approved Global Entry applicants to complete interviews upon arrival in the United States or before departing flights at select airports offering EoD services, removing the need for enrollment center visits.

Further details about Global Entry benefits, eligibility, application process, and enrollment options are available on the CBP website: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry.
