Stefano Corbella, a Chartered Engineer and member of the Advisory Board of the DABC department at Politecnico di Milano, currently serves as the Sustainability Officer for COIMA. With experience in both London and Milan, Corbella has contributed to sustainability strategies for urban regeneration projects like Porta Nuova in Milan. His work includes developing decarbonization plans for Real Estate Investment Funds in the UK and Italy.
At COIMA, Corbella focuses on integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues at both corporate and investment fund levels. He is tasked with creating regulatory ESG reporting under SFDR guidelines and voluntary ESG reporting through the Sustainability Report.
COIMA's efforts include significant achievements such as those related to the "Pirelli 35" commercial building in Milan's Porta Nuova district. This building delivers energy savings of 60%, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 2,000 tons annually. It has already achieved LEED Platinum and WELL Gold certifications along with nZEB labeling.
Another notable project is "GIOIA 22," a landmark tower in Milan’s business district. It holds the distinction of being Italy’s first nearly-zero-energy-building (nZEB) labeled tower.
