The KfW Entrepreneurs’ Award 2025 is approaching its application deadline. Companies and start-ups established or acquired through succession since 2020 have until July 1 to submit their applications. The award aims to recognize innovative entrepreneurs across Germany, with a total prize fund of EUR 35,000.
Each federal state will see a winner receiving EUR 1,000, while the national winner will take home an additional EUR 9,000. This year features a special company succession prize of EUR 5,000. A people’s choice award of the same amount will also be awarded after the competition concludes.
The jury seeks creative and innovative business concepts that not only promise economic success but also emphasize social responsibility, added value, and ecological sustainability.
In addition to the Entrepreneurs’ Award, KfW Capital presents the KfW Capital Award to outstanding individuals in the European venture capital scene who have strong ties to Germany as an investment hub.
The award ceremony is scheduled for November 6, 2025, in Berlin and will be broadcast by n-tv. Winners will receive professional public relations support. Further details on applying can be found online.
