Ambassador Dunnigan and Senior Advisor Toehlke engaged in discussions with Foreign Minister Botchorishvili to evaluate the U.S.-Georgia relationship. The United States is currently reassessing its strategy towards Georgia with the aim of promoting American interests.
"The United States continues to review its approach to Georgia to advance American interests," stated the embassy. It was emphasized that "the United States has made clear the steps Georgia’s government can take to demonstrate it is serious about improving its relationship with the United States."
