Lynn Good joins Morgan Stanley board; expands board membership

Morgan Stanley has announced the election of Lynn Good to its Board of Directors, effective July 18, 2025. Good is the former Chair, CEO, and President of Duke Energy. Her addition will expand Morgan Stanley's Board to 15 members, and she will join the Audit Committee.

As the former Chair and CEO of Duke Energy, she brings valuable strategic and management experience to the team. Lynn also has a thorough understanding of accounting and financial reporting matters. Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm that offers investment banking, securities, wealth management, and investment management services. The company operates in over 42 countries serving various clients including corporations, governments, institutions, and individuals.

Good served as Chair, CEO, and President of Duke Energy Corporation from January 2016 until April 2025. Before becoming CEO at Duke Energy in July 2013, she held several executive roles including Executive Vice President and CFO. Prior to Duke Energy's merger with Cinergy Corporation in 2006 where she was Executive Vice President and CFO at Cinergy.
