Toyota Motor Europe (TME) and the H2 Grand Prix Foundation have announced a partnership to promote STEAM education. TME is responsible for the wholesale sales and marketing of Toyota, GR (Gazoo Racing), and Lexus vehicles in Europe, employing over 26,000 people with an investment of more than EUR 12 billion since 1990. TME's European manufacturing plants are located in Portugal, the UK, France, Poland, Czech Republic, and Turkey. In 2024, TME sold over 1.2 million vehicles in Europe.

The company aims to achieve carbon neutrality across its operations in Europe by focusing on zero-emission fuel cell products and offering electrified powertrains including hybrid and electric vehicles. Toyota has committed to reducing CO2 emissions from new vehicles in Western Europe by 2035.

The H2GP Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting educational programs related to hydrogen technology. The foundation focuses on innovation, scholarships, and partnerships that advance the hydrogen economy. It offers accessible educational programs aimed at training future leaders in hydrogen and sustainable energy.

The collaboration between TME and H2GP seeks to enhance STEAM education through hands-on learning experiences that empower young minds to become future leaders in renewable energy sectors.
