Samsung Electronics has announced the global launch of its HU8000F series, a new addition to its 2025 Hospitality TV lineup. The series, which includes six sizes ranging from 43" to 85", is designed to enhance hotel guest experiences with features like Google Cast for streaming and connectivity. The official unveiling will occur at HITEC 2025, a major hospitality technology event in Indianapolis from June 16-19.
“Samsung’s HU8000F Hospitality TV series delivers a new level of in-room experience, combining brilliant 4K picture, advanced streaming and easy management,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “With Google Cast support, an AirSlim design and integrated cloud capabilities, we are redefining what’s possible for hotel entertainment worldwide.”
The HU8000F boasts Samsung's Crystal Processor 4K and features such as HDR10+ and Dynamic Crystal Color for enhanced visual clarity. Its design aims to fit seamlessly into hotel environments with an elegant AirSlim look.
Expanded content options include Prime Video alongside Netflix and Samsung TV Plus, all accessible via Tizen OS Home. Adaptive sound technology is included for optimized audio experiences across various types of media content.
Samsung LYNK Cloud offers centralized remote management for hotel operations, facilitating revenue generation through targeted promotions. With SmartThings Pro integration and a multi-code remote control, hotels can personalize guest experiences further.
Google Cast integration allows guests to access content from over 5,000 apps by mirroring their devices directly on the TV without additional hardware. This feature reduces costs associated with external devices and minimizes risks related to device theft.
A software update enabling Google Cast will be available soon for existing HBU8000 models. Successful deployments have already occurred in Indonesian hotels like The Apurva Kempinski Bali and Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan.
The HU8000F series also includes practical features suited for hotel use such as RJ12 connectors and LAN output ports. It operates on the Tizen platform offering secure navigation through Samsung Knox protection.
