ANZ has announced that it has been recognized as the leading bank for corporate and institutional customer relationships in Australia. This marks the sixteenth time since 2005 that ANZ has received this recognition.

The Coalition Greenwich Voice of Client 2025 Australia Large Corporate & Institutional Relationship Banking Study placed ANZ first in its Relationship Strength Index. This index is a significant industry measure derived from feedback provided by senior financial decision-makers within large companies across the nation.

In addition to this accolade, ANZ was also ranked number one for Transaction Banking relationships according to the Coalition Greenwich Voice of Client 2025 Australia Transaction Banking Study.

Mark Whelan, ANZ Group Executive, Institutional, stated: “Trust and innovation have never mattered more, given the rapid pace of industry change and emerging payment trends and technologies. Our early and ongoing investment in our people, platforms and products is helping our customers stay ahead of the curve."

He further added, "Our team is committed to bringing customers the best advice, reliable execution, and cutting-edge innovations so I am proud of these achievements and grateful for the sustained effort and focus that has resulted in customers highly valuing the advice, products and relationships we deliver to them. I want to thank customers for making ANZ number one. However, we recognise that the job is never done.”

ANZ was also named Most Trusted Advisor for a third consecutive year and was ranked first for relationship manager capability. In Transaction Banking, ANZ was acknowledged as a leader in product development and innovation for three years running.

The bank recorded the highest net promoter score ever measured among Australian banks in this study category for a third straight year. Additionally, recognition was given to its host-to-host and trade platforms as well as its industry analysis.

The Crisil Coalition Greenwich studies are respected benchmarks of institutional banking performance within Australia based on interviews with over 670 senior executives who oversee their organizations' banking relationships.

These recent accolades follow earlier recognition this year where ANZ was named as Asia's best bank for corporate banking by Crisil Coalition Greenwich — an award it has received annually since 2017.
