The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) is seeking a firm to provide annual preventive maintenance services for its potable water treatment system and backflow preventer located in Taipei, Taiwan. The selected contract will be a firm-fixed-price agreement. Interested firms must meet specific qualifications to be considered.

To submit a proposal, firms must demonstrate technical expertise and financial responsibility. Requirements include the ability to understand English, an established business presence with a permanent address and telephone listing, relevant experience with suitable references, and at least five years of past performance records in the field. Additionally, firms must have the necessary personnel, equipment, financial resources, licenses, permits required by local law, compliance with insurance requirements, no adverse criminal record, and no conflicting political or business affiliations with AIT interests.

Questions regarding this request for quotation (RFQ) should be directed to Taipei_Procurement@state.gov by noon on June 25th, 2025 (Taipei Time). Responses to these inquiries will be provided by 5 p.m. on July 1st, 2025 (Taipei Time).

Proposals excluding VAT along with National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Certification need to be submitted by noon on July 10th, 2025 (Taipei Time).
