Fubon Financial Holdings is actively participating in the World Masters Games 2025, held in Taipei and New Taipei City. The company serves as the official sponsor of the event, reflecting its ongoing support for sports and commitment to promoting international events in Taiwan.
Over 200 employees from Fubon Financial Holdings are taking part in various competitions such as athletics, hammer throw, baseball and softball, orienteering, cycling, tennis, golf, and triathlon. The company's engagement extends beyond participation; nearly 100 employees have volunteered to assist with on-site inquiries, transportation guidance, medical support, and award ceremonies.
The company's involvement aligns with its four key strategies—decarbonization, digitalization, empowerment, and connection—aimed at fostering a healthy workplace and supporting sports culture. As part of these efforts, Fubon has collaborated with its employee running club for warm-up runs and organized a nutrition seminar to promote sports nutrition awareness.
Fubon Financial Holdings has invested over NT$500 million annually in domestic sports development. It owns professional teams like the Fubon Braves (basketball), Fubon Guardians (baseball), and Fubon Bulls (adult baseball). The company also sponsors elite athletes and hosts international events. Its contributions have been recognized by the Sports Administration of the Ministry of Education with the 'Sports Promoter Award' for 16 consecutive years.
The public is invited to attend the World Masters Games from May 17 to May 30 to support this global event and contribute to Taiwan's sports tourism.
