US Embassy Vilnius seeks proposals for new SUV purchase

The United States Embassy in Vilnius is currently seeking proposals for the acquisition of a new SUV. The vehicle must meet several specific requirements as outlined by the embassy.

Key specifications include a four-wheel drive system, an eight-cylinder engine with at least 390 kW, and it should not be a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). Additional features required are a swivel rear axle, two-axle pneumatic chassis, and remote autonomous heating. The SUV should also come equipped with a winter tire set that includes rubber interior mats, a tire pressure indicator, integrated active steering, and adaptive two-axle air suspension.

Further specifications involve an alarm system, keyless entry and start system, door closers, tow bar, and cup holders with heating and cooling functions. Heated and ventilated front and rear seats are also necessary along with a front heating comfort package. A wireless mobile phone charger is required as well.

Interested parties should note that registration on www.sam.gov is mandatory prior to the award. Payment will be processed within 30 days following the delivery of the vehicle and issuance of the proper invoice. Quotes should exclude VAT as purchases will be made without it. Vehicle delivery terms must be specified in the quote submission.

Proposals are to be submitted via email to Vilnius.Procurement@state.gov by June 11th, 2025 at close of business (17:00).
