Representatives from the Federal Benefits Unit at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw, Poland, are scheduled to visit Vilnius on September 27-28, 2023. They will be available from 1:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. on both days to accept applications for Social Security cards and claims for benefits, as well as to answer any SSA-related questions. Appointments can be requested by emailing fbu.warsaw@ssa.gov with a brief explanation of the matter or service needed.

For additional information, individuals are encouraged to visit the State Department’s travel website for Worldwide Caution, Travel Warnings, Travel Alerts, and Lithuania Country Specific Information. Enrolling in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is also recommended to receive security messages and facilitate location in emergencies.
