The U.S. Embassy in Vilnius has announced a town hall meeting for U.S. citizens and their immediate family members. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 17, at 3:30 p.m., and will take place at the U.S. Embassy in Vilnius, Lithuania.
U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Lithuania, Kara C. McDonald, will be present to address attendees. The town hall will include remarks from Ambassador McDonald, short presentations on voting in the 2024 elections, safety and security issues, followed by a Q&A session.
The embassy encourages all U.S. citizens residing in Lithuania to attend along with their immediate family members. RSVPs are required and should be submitted before Monday, May 13. Confirmation of attendance and arrival details will be communicated via email closer to the date of the event.
The gathering aims to provide an opportunity for attendees to meet Ambassador McDonald and learn about her objectives for enhancing the relationship between the United States and Lithuania. It also serves as a networking opportunity for U.S. citizens living in Lithuania.
