Following the conclusion of Stand-by (SBA) and Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF) arrangements on May 24, 2025, Kosovo has drawn SDR 80.122 million (€96.22 million) under the SBA. This decision was made to prepare for potential shortfalls in external financing amid heightened uncertainty, as indicated in their Letter of Intent dated April 30, 2025.

The arrangements provide Kosovo with access to SDR 80.122 million (€96.22 million), representing 97 percent of its quota under the SBA, and SDR 61.95 million (€74.39 million), or 75 percent of its quota under the RSF. With this drawdown and previously disbursed RSF resources, Kosovo's outstanding IMF credit now totals SDR 142.07 million (€170.61 million).

Kosovo's authorities have utilized these funds to strengthen economic policies and build financial buffers.
