Arch Insurance International has announced the appointment of Ed Short as Head of Digital. This new role involves leading digital underwriting solutions across Arch's international platform, effective immediately.

Short will oversee the execution of Arch’s digital underwriting strategy, ensuring a unified approach across various markets including London, UK Regional, Australia, EU, and Bermuda. He will work closely with underwriting teams to enhance digital capabilities in products, placement, and partnerships. His goal is to provide brokers with easy access to capacity and expertise while fostering a digital environment that complements Arch’s open-market underwriting.

Before this appointment, Short served as Vice President of Digital Partners at Arch since joining the company in 2023. His previous roles include UK Sales Director for AdvantageGo and positions at Hiscox, Barbican, and HCC Global.
