NAB's healthcare claiming solution, HICAPS, has launched an integration with Best Practice, a leading practice management software in Australia. This development aims to simplify and speed up the processes of claiming, EFTPOS transactions, and reconciliations for general practitioners (GPs), clinics, and patients.
HICAPS is now integrated into Best Practice's Bp Premier software, which serves over 6,000 medical clinics across the country. The integration promises several benefits:
- It saves time by enabling faster Medicare Easyclaim processing and patient rebates directly to debit cards.
- It minimizes manual data entry and reduces billing errors.
- It provides real-time updates and reporting within Bp Premier for better financial management.
- It streamlines payments and claims for shorter wait times at reception.
- It offers comprehensive reporting for improved business insights.
Dani Galus from Bassendean Total Health Care reported that the integration has significantly improved clinic operations. "We’re seeing up to 150 patients a day," Ms. Galus said. "Since the integration, billing has been streamlined and more accurate." She noted that it saved time and reduced mistakes.
Mark Raymer, CEO of HICAPS, emphasized the importance of this advancement in healthcare innovation. "This is about simplifying healthcare claiming," Mr. Raymer stated. He highlighted that NAB is the first major bank to integrate such solutions with Best Practice software.
Craig Hodges, CEO of Best Practice, supported this collaboration as beneficial for customer success in Australian healthcare.
