John Noh, who is currently performing the duties of Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs, recently met with Lieutenant General Rath Dararoth, Cambodia's Secretary of State for Defence. The meeting focused on regional security matters and the military relationship between the United States and Cambodia.

During their discussions, both leaders expressed anticipation for an upcoming visit by a U.S. Navy ship to Ream Naval Base later this year. This visit will include maritime training exercises. Additionally, plans were mentioned for Secretary Hegseth to travel to Ream to visit the U.S. ship while it is docked there.

Noh conveyed his gratitude towards Cambodia's dedication to strengthening the bilateral relationship and acknowledged the open invitation extended by Cambodia to visit and conduct training at Ream Naval Base.
