ANZ's Institutional division has been recognized at the 2025 Australian Corporate Treasury Association (ACTA) awards, receiving accolades as Most Trusted Advisor and Most Innovative Transactional Bank. Additionally, ANZ customer bp was awarded Innovation of the Year for a solution enabled by ANZ.

Mark Whelan, ANZ Group Executive, Institutional, expressed satisfaction with the recognition: “We have consistently invested in our transaction banking offering so it’s great to see this endorsement from our corporate and institutional banking customers.”

He further added: “These awards reflect our team’s hard work to make sure we’re always listening to customers, anticipating and responding to their needs. Being again named Most Trusted Advisor is an honour, and we thank our customers for placing their trust in us to deliver for them.”

The awards were announced by Coalition Greenwich during the annual ACTA conference held in Sydney. The Coalition Greenwich survey is a respected measure of performance in Australia's institutional banking sector. The complete results of the 2025 survey will be published on June 10.

Previously, in 2024, ANZ was ranked as the top bank in Australia according to Coalition Greenwich's Large Corporate & Institutional Relationship Banking Survey's relationship strength index (RSI).
