Siemens Mobility is presenting its array of innovative rail transport products and services at the Transport Logistic 2025 event in Munich. The company's exhibition includes the Vectron MS multi-system locomotive, the Vectron AC with a battery power module, and new services under the Smart Asset Suite powered by Railigent X.

Steffen Bobsien, Vice President Locomotives and Passenger Coaches at Siemens Mobility, emphasized their commitment to reliability and innovation: "Our customers expect maximum reliability and solutions for all areas of rail transport from us. With our platform products and innovations, we support them in optimizing their operating processes and expanding the operational capabilities of their fleets. I am particularly proud of our Vectron AC with battery module. This locomotive combines cutting-edge technology and sustainability."

The Vectron AC equipped with a battery power module is being highlighted as a sustainable solution for last-mile operations without overhead power lines. This environmentally friendly option reduces CO2 emissions by eliminating diesel-powered shunting locomotives. The high-voltage lithium-ion battery module features an intelligent management system for energy control.

Siemens Mobility also showcases the Vectron MS locomotive designed for cross-border service throughout Europe, offering operational flexibility to customers.

Digitalization in rail operations is further advanced with Siemens' Smart Asset Suite powered by Railigent X. This software suite aims to optimize daily operations through analysis tools that increase locomotive availability and efficiency.

Additional offerings include Railcover, a modular service package for locomotives; MoBase, an online marketplace for railway spare parts; and Rail service hub based on Railigent X providing predictive maintenance solutions.

Upcoming media events at Transport Logistic include presentations on June 2nd about making Vectron Locomotives smart at booth B6/208. On June 3rd, there will be several activities including the handover of the first Vectron for France to Alpha Trains at booth B6 321/422, announcements related to Vectrons Cargo Unit at Stand B5.239, followed by a press conference featuring the Bavarian Minister of Housing, Construction and Transport outside tracks 2/5.
