The U.S. Embassy in Albania is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. This initiative offers mid-career professionals with leadership potential an opportunity to engage in a year of graduate-level, non-degree academic coursework and professional development activities in the United States.

Candidates are selected based on their leadership potential and commitment to public service. The fellowship spans ten months, after which participants must return to Albania for at least two years. While family members may accompany fellows under certain conditions, they are also subject to the two-year home residency requirement.

The program covers various fields such as Human and Institutional Capacity, Rights and Freedoms, Sustainable Lands, and Thriving Communities. Financial support includes tuition fees, a monthly maintenance allowance, book and supplies allowance, computer subsidy, international travel costs to the host institution (and English-language training if applicable), as well as domestic travel to Washington D.C. for a seminar.

Applicants must complete their application online by June 30, 2025. Applications submitted after this date or via Google Docs or We Transfer will not be considered.
