ING has provided an update on its €2.0 billion share buyback programme, initially announced on May 2, 2025. During the week from May 19 to May 23, 2025, a total of 3,075,000 shares were repurchased. These shares were bought at an average price of €19.04 each, amounting to a total expenditure of €58,544,752.50.

The programme aims to reduce ING's share capital. To date, a cumulative total of 17,066,183 shares have been repurchased under this initiative at an average price of €18.45 per share. This brings the total cost so far to €314,795,030.16. The company reports that approximately 15.74% of the maximum value designated for the buyback has been utilized.
