The statement specifically denounces the bombing of a hospital operated by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and other civilian sites.
The diplomatic entities express support for "the African Union Commission Chairperson’s call for accountability." They emphasize that all involved parties must take responsibility to halt violence across South Sudan and ensure the safety of civilians and aid workers.
In their appeal, they urge South Sudan's leaders to prioritize their citizens' welfare above all else.
