Representatives from the Regional Federal Benefits Unit at the U.S. Embassy in Costa Rica will be visiting Nicaragua to provide in-person services related to U.S. Social Security and other federal benefits. The event will take place at the U.S. Embassy in Nicaragua, Consular Section, located at Km. 5.5 Carretera Sur.
The services will be available from June 23 to June 26, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and on June 27 from 7:30 a.m. to noon. An appointment is necessary as walk-ins will not be accepted.
To schedule an appointment, individuals should email ACSManagua@state.gov before June 20 with "H99 – Social Security Visit" as the subject line. The email must include the individual's name, last four digits of their social security number, phone number, required service(s), and preferred day for the appointment.
Upon receipt of this information, a response with the scheduled appointment date and time will be provided.
Applicants are reminded to bring originals and copies of their birth certificate, passport, and any necessary supporting documents to their appointments.
