The Office of Suspension and Debarment (OSD) has released the Knowledge Report from the 2nd Symposium on Supranational Responses to Corruption. The event, which took place in May 2024 at the London School of Economics and Political Science, was a collaborative effort by several organizations including the World Bank’s OSD and Sanctions Board Secretariat, Green Climate Fund, and Transparency International.

The symposium aimed to explore how supranational anti-corruption mechanisms could effectively manage integrity risks in climate-related projects. A total of 60 participants attended, comprising practitioners, academics, and stakeholders from both climate and integrity sectors.

During the two-day event, attendees engaged in discussions across seven sessions. These sessions were based on 18 selected proposals following a Call for Contributions. Topics included specific integrity risks in climate finance, carbon markets, private investments, the role of international financial institutions, and social accountability.
