Barclays has announced new partnerships with two major UK live venues, Co-op Live and The O2. The bank will become the Founding Partner of Co-op Live and the Principal Partner of The O2. These partnerships are part of Barclays' long-standing commitment to supporting music, sports, and arts events.
For over 25 years, Barclays has been involved in sponsorships that provide access to significant cultural moments. This includes events like Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard and Wimbledon matches. With these new partnerships, Barclays customers will have access to reserved tickets and premium lounges at both venues.
Tom Corbett, Managing Director of Sponsorship and Client Experience at Barclays, expressed enthusiasm about the partnerships: “We’re thrilled to announce our new partnerships with Co-op Live and The O2. These world-class venues join our growing entertainment portfolio.”
Nathan Kosky from AEG Global Partnerships commented on welcoming Barclays to The O2: “We’re excited to welcome Barclays... Delivering a best-in-class experience is at the heart of everything we do.”
Guy Dunstan from Co-op Live highlighted the impact on community engagement: “Partnering with Barclays not only further elevates Co-op Live’s celebrated fan experience but also extends our commitment to the North West.”
Barclays aims to support community projects through these partnerships, with more details forthcoming.
