Samsung Electronics has announced the addition of Disney's iconic artwork to its Samsung Art Store. This update allows TV users worldwide to experience visuals from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and National Geographic in 4K resolution.
Heeyeong Ahn, Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, expressed excitement about the collaboration: "We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with Disney to offer their most beloved artwork to our global community of Art Store users." The aim is to enrich users' lives by providing a diverse range of artistic content.
The new Disney Collection offers digital galleries that include classic and contemporary works celebrating storytelling and adventure. It features characters from films like "The Little Mermaid," "Snow White," and "Tangled," as well as elements from the "Star Wars saga" and National Geographic's "Planet Earth."
The Samsung Art Store, a subscription platform on Samsung TVs, now includes over 3,500 curated artworks from more than 800 artists and 70 galleries. Launched in 2017 with The Frame TV, it is now available on Samsung AI-powered Neo QLED and QLED TVs released in 2025.
Besides Disney's collection, users can access masterpieces from institutions like the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Monthly curated selections by art experts are also available.
