The U.S. Embassy's American Citizens Services unit has announced passport services for U.S. citizens in Antigua Guatemala on June 10, 2025. The event will take place at the INGUAT Offices, located at 5 Calle Oriente #11, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and no appointment is necessary.

General documentary requirements and complete passport application procedures are available on the embassy's website. Attendees are advised to bring all necessary documents and copies. It is important to note that cash or credit card payments will not be accepted on-site; applicants must prepay their fees.

For those applying for a passport book and/or card using Form DS-11, payment should be made online through pay.gov, with a printed copy of the payment confirmation receipt included in the application. Similarly, adults renewing their passports with Form DS-82 must also pay online via pay.gov and include a printed payment confirmation receipt.

Further assistance can be obtained from the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala City or by contacting the State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs at the provided phone numbers. Travelers are encouraged to visit the Guatemala Country Information and Travel Advisory page and enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) for security updates.

Updates can also be followed on Facebook and X (Twitter).
